Amber Etienne-Best
MPS, ATR-P, LGAT
Amber Etienne-Best is a Provisional Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P) and is a Licensed Graduate Art Therapist (LGAT) in the District of Columbia. She is an independent contractor at Sage House specializing in working with kids and adults. Amber earned a Master's in Professional Studies in Art Therapy from The School of Visual Arts in New York. She has experience working in a school providing support services to children and teens with global developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, speech and language delays, and other neuro-developmental disabilities; additionally, she has worked in an inpatient setting with adults who have a dual-diagnosis of substance use disorder.
Amber is passionate about creating an environment that allows for growth and discovery, offering the opportunity to explore holistic practices. Her integrative approach focuses on somatic, person-centered, and trauma-informed approaches. She also integrates art therapy into her work with clients as requested.
Currently Amber is seeing virtual clients who reside in the District of Columbia. Her services are eligible for out of network reimbursement. She will be expanding to offer in-person services at our Arlington Virginia where she will be an in-network provider with AnthemBCBS PPO plans.
