Gariné Achikian

Gariné Achikian is a third-year student at The George Washington University, where they are earning a Master's in Art Therapy. Gariné’s background includes experience with culturally diverse populations, teens and young adults with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ clients. In addition to their art therapy studies and professional experience, Gariné is a certified yoga instructor. This combination of skills allows them to blend mindfulness and body awareness into their therapeutic approach, promoting a holistic and inclusive environment for their clients. 

Gariné is under the Supervision of and on-site supervisor at The George Washington University and under the supervision of Sage House Counseling & Art Therapy supervisor, Kelley Kuchinov, MA, ATR-BC.
