MSW, LCSW Supervisee

Courtney Pierce, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Supervisee, who brings more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and communities through trauma, healing, and transformation. Courtney specializes in working with children, teens, young adults, women and men as well as couples navigating trauma, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges. Her approach integrates evidence-based therapy with body-based practices to help clients reconnect to safety, purpose, and joy.

Courtney’s clinical practice is rooted in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. She has extensive experience supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking, as well as individuals from marginalized communities.

In addition to her clinical work, Courtney is a published researcher, educator, and advocate. Her work has been featured by the National Association of Social Workers, the National Association of Black Social Workers, Sage Publications, and Journal of Interpersonal Violence.

Courtney holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Graduate Certificate in Social Work in Rural Communities from Western New Mexico University. As a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), she integrates mindfulness and movement into her therapeutic approach when appropriate—helping clients heal holistically in mind, body, and spirit.

Courtney believes therapy is a sacred space where healing begins with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. Her mission is to help clients build resilience, reclaim their stories, and rediscover joy.

Courtney is an in-network provider with Anthem BCBS PPO plans and Kaiser Permanente. She is an Out of Network provider with most other insurance carriers. She currently offers therapy sessions in-person as well as online via telehealth.
