Jemma is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia. She earned her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Health Practice from the University of Washington, and brings several years of experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.

In addition to grief-focused care, Jemma supports clients with anxiety, adjustment concerns, and emotional regulation. Her therapeutic style is relational, child-centered, and collaborative. She integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, expressive writing and journaling, and play. Jemma is passionate about helping children and adolescents find their voice through therapeutic storytelling.
Jemma has completed specialized training in Onco-Fertility and Palliative Care and is deeply interested in the intersection of illness and mental health within the family system. In addition to her work at Sage House, she provides care to pediatric oncology patients in an outpatient clinic. In her free time, Jemma enjoys reading, creative writing, and spending time with her cats and loved ones in beautiful Loudoun County.
