Dr. Carolin Jassem is a compassionate Resident in Psychology with over 15 years of clinical experience in therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments. She is dedicated to creating a warm, affirming therapeutic space for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Jassem works collaboratively with individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergent experiences. Using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, she helps clients of all ages build resilience and develop meaningful coping strategies.
In addition to therapy, Dr. Jassem specializes in comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental testing, including specialized Autism and ADHD evaluations for both children and adults. She understands that the testing process can be a significant step. To support her clients, Dr. Jassem provides dedicated feedback sessions and psychoeducation, offering personalized, actionable recommendations to help individuals and families better understand their unique needs.
Dr. Jassem earned her Doctor of Psychology and Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, and her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Mid Sweden University. Throughout her career, she has worked in various clinical and community settings, providing client-centered care for diverse populations. Fully proficient in English, Swedish and Arabic.
As an independent contractor at Sage House Therapy, Carolin offers therapy services in person and virtually, as applicable. She also offers comprehensive psychological evaluations and testing services in- person.
