Kirsten Ashey
MA, ATR, Resident in Counseling
Kirsten Ashey is a Resident in Counseling working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is also a Registered Art Therapist (ATR). As an Independent Contractor at Sage House Therapy, she works primarily with children and teens ages 3+. She also provides individual therapy, family therapy and parent coaching. She earned her BA from Georgia State University in Psychology. In 2020 she completed her MA in Art Therapy from The George Washington University. She has spent the past several years working with students in the public schools, specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and neurodiversity. Kirsten believes in the power of art therapy to foster healing, transformation, and wellness.
Kirsten is an In-Network provider with Anthem BCBS PPO plans, a preferred provider with Kaiser Permanente and an Out of Network provider with some insurance plans.
