LMSW

Jodi is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Virginia. She received her MSW from Columbia University, and spent many years working with children and teens in a variety of school settings. As an Independent Contractor at Sage House Therapy, her specialties include perinatal mood disorders, infertility, miscarriage, grief and loss, and life transitions. She has also completed a certification training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. Combining a strengths-based and person-centered approach that centers the expertise clients bring to their own life, Jodi looks for ways to incorporate mindfulness, reflection, and metaphor into her work. A mother and former educator, Jodi also understands the multifaceted challenges facing parents and teens today.

Jodi brings calm authenticity and warmth into session, making sure to allow plenty of space for meaningful connection and collaboration. Jodi’s clinical experience includes providing school-based support to young children, coordinating care for victims of domestic violence and their families, as well as volunteering with Postpartum Support International as part of their local chapter, Postpartum Support Virginia (PSVA).

Jodi is an in-network provider with Anthem BCBS PPO plans, and currently offers options for in-person and virtual therapy. She is considered a Supervisee in Social Work as she works towards her LCSW.
