Kate is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified, Registered Art Therapist who enjoys working with adolescents and adults. Kate earned her M.A. in Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from The George Washington University, and has spent many years working in schools, hospitals, and outpatient settings. As an Independent Contractor at Sage House Therapy, she works with clients in recovery from eating disorders, while also specializing in anxiety, OCD, depression, self-harm and grief. Kate is passionate about helping clients renew their relationship with their body- aligning herself with the approach of Health at Every Size. Kate might be a good fit for you if you've ever struggled to nourish yourself, accept your body, or see it neutrally. She integrates a blended approach of art therapy and counseling, psycho-education and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients. Kate brings encouragement and energy to therapy. More than anything, Kate would like to provide a space for you to feel heard, and begin cultivating a life that brings you joy and peace.

Kate currently offers therapy in person, as well as online via telehealth. She is an In-Network provider for Anthem BCBS PPO plans and a preferred out of network provider with Kaiser Permanente. She is an out of network provider with all other insurance companies.
